Element Scale

Weigh fire, earth, air and water across the placements you know. The element that comes out light often explains more than the heavy one.

Private by design: the maths runs on your device and nothing is sent to Zodiacs Fate.

More Than Your Sun's Element

Your Sun sign belongs to one element, but your chart contains many placements, each in its own sign. Together they create a personal mix of fire, earth, air and water.

The Element Scale weighs those placements to show which element leads and which is light or missing.

That balance often explains your natural strengths and your habitual blind spots more clearly than the Sun sign alone.

How the Weighting Works

Not every placement carries the same weight. The Sun and Moon each count three points, the ascendant two, and Mercury, Venus and Mars one each.

The slow outer planets are left out because they are shared by millions of people born in the same years and say more about a generation than an individual.

The result is shown as percentages, along with a note describing your strongest element and any element that scored zero.

The Element That Leads

A dominant element describes the qualities that come most naturally: fire's enthusiasm, earth's steadiness, air's curiosity or water's empathy.

These are usually the traits other people notice and rely on. They are also the ones you may overuse when under pressure.

Knowing your lead element helps you understand both your gifts and your default reactions.

The Element That Is Missing

A missing or very light element describes something that does not happen automatically. Low fire may make starting difficult; low earth may make follow-through hard; low air may make explaining your reasoning feel unnecessary; low water may make feelings slow to surface.

Astrologers often say the missing element shapes a life as much as the dominant one, because it is the area where effort is always required.

Some people overcompensate, developing that quality to an impressive degree precisely because it never came easily.

Making Use of the Result

Treat your balance as practical self-knowledge. If an element is light, consider what tools, habits or people could supply it when needed.

You may also notice that friends and partners often carry plenty of the element you lack.
